How a funded project runs
- 01
Screening call
Twenty minutes to establish building type, fuels, age and likely programmes. No cost.
- 02
Funded assessment
Where a programme funds the study, we apply on your behalf first — so the analysis costs you little or nothing.
- 03
Study & measure list
Costed measures with savings, incentive value, payback and carbon impact, sealed under our permit.
- 04
Application
We prepare and submit the incentive application; you review and approve before it goes.
- 05
Design & construction
M&E design, tender support and construction review as required.
- 06
M&V and payment
Post-project verification against the baseline, through to the incentive cheque landing.
Common questions
Do we pay for the assessment?
Often not. Several BC and Irish programmes fund the study itself. We tell you at the screening call which route applies to your building.
How long does an application take?
Screening to submitted application is typically six to ten weeks, dominated by data collection and site access. Programme review adds four to twelve weeks.
Can you work with our existing contractor?
Yes. We are consulting engineers — we do not install. We are happy to work alongside a contractor you already trust.
What if the building does not qualify?
We tell you at the screening stage rather than after you have paid for a study. Where nothing standard fits, we look at custom routes.
Do you work outside BC and Ireland?
Selectively, for existing clients with portfolios that cross borders. Ask.
